Letter of the day – The Conservative Woman

Dear Editor

Reform UK now control ten councils. Richard Tice, Reform UK’s deputy leader, has said that these councils will now block renewable energy projects by every means possible. Nigel Farage recently warned council workers working on climate change or diversity, equality and inclusion to seek ‘alternative careers very, very quickly’. In February Reform outlined its energy policy which included taxes on the renewable sector and new laws blocking new pylons from being erected. It is obvious that the public welcomed Reform’s approach showing they are fed up with Miliband and his criminally expensive climate agenda and the UK’s politicians who seem unable to halt uncontrolled immigration and the pressures it has caused to the NHS, housing, social cohesion and rapidly escalating foreign crime figures. Roll on May 2026 when the Scottish Parliament elections will be held and Reform change the balance of power.
