I think the first assumption you will make is Cabal is a state-less intelligence service, owned by elites to keep themselves on top. It would seem the best way to operate, as having a state just gives your enemies an address to send the fighters and bombers to. But even better is to be a stateless intelligence service, with a state which you do not give a fuck about, for your enemies to send the fighters and bombers to. I think Israel volunteered to be that state, with an assumption they would always be able to avoid having the fighters and bombers be sent, while still enjoying the advantages of being right under the only real, non-fantasy-camp intel outfit in the game.
Of course Epstein was the biggest risk they have faced of late, and you can see the panic above. But the surveillance will be what destroys them.

But if Israel went into a prison and swapped out an inmate with a dead body, and this supported that, I doubt the people in it really have any misconceptions about what they are in.

Dr. Michael Baden, who was hired by Mark Epstein at the time to be present at the autopsy, said at the time that Epstein suffered injuries that were more consistent with a homicide than a suicide.
He said Epstein had small burst capillaries in his face, mouth and eyes, and also had three distinct fractures on his jaw. ‘I have never seen three fractures like this in a suicidal hanging,’ he said, per CBS News.
Mark Epstein noted on NewsNation on Tuesday: ‘Baden, who was there on my behalf, who witnessed the autopsy, also concurred that it looked more like a homicide than a suicide.’
This next one sounds like a guess. I would guess Trump wanted to shut down the whole Gaza/Iran situation, and Israel brought up Epstein as a demand. That would explain the suddenness of it, as Israel wanted to see Epstein stonewalled, before committing at Trump’s meeting:
