Aren't You Getting Tired of Being Lied To by Media and the Democrats? – HotAir

Tomorrow, Original Sin, the book on how Joe Biden’s White House and the leadership of the Democratic Party lied to poor Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, and to the rest of the resistance media that had its collective heads buried in the sand for the four years of the former President’s regency, finally comes out. Tapper is scheduled to appear on Megyn Kelly’s podcast, which could be one for the record books, if Megyn’s reputation precedes her. 

Yesterday morning, the news dropped that Joe Biden has been diagnosed with late-stage prostate cancer, an aggressive disease that has already metastasized into his bones. 





In a statement, Biden’s team said that the former politician “was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms.” 

“On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone,” the statement added. 

“While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management,” Biden’s team continued. “The President and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians.”

It goes without saying, but prayers go out to the former President. I have dealt with the specter of an advanced cancer diagnosis in my life, and it’s not something to politicize or weaponize. My pastor, Greg Laurie of Harvest Christian Fellowship, summed up what the proper response to Biden’s condition ought to be of anyone, Christian or not. 

Amen to that. I have no deep-seated hatred in me that would relish anyone going through late or end-stage cancer. That said, there is this little matter of the resistance media looking for a life raft of credibility anywhere in its grasp. Thus far, that credibility preserver has proven elusive.

David Axelrod, former Barack Obama political guru and Van Jones, former Obama administration czar, both reacted to the Hur tapes of Joe Biden back in October of 2023 in front of the grand jury looking into his culpability in illegally storing classified documents at multiple unsecured locations. These tapes were released on Friday and completely vindicated the former Special Counsel, and gave another black eye to media who repeated the White House narrative – hook, line, and sinker, that Hur misrepresented the cognitive condition of Joe Biden. 





You’ll notice that Jake Tapper was in the middle moderating the discussion, and he didn’t ask the obvious follow-up questions. “Who knew, Van? Give us some names, please. Who in the White House knew? Who in the media knew? Why didn’t this all come out earlier, and why wasn’t the 25th Amendment triggered?”

Now that the cancer diagnosis has been made public a day and a half after the release of the Hur tapes, Axelrod is singing a completely different tune. In Politico, he said this. 

David Axelrod, the longtime Democratic operative and former Barack Obama adviser, said on CNN minutes after the diagnosis was revealed that conversations about Biden’s mental acuity “should be more muted and set aside for now as he’s struggling through this.”

Negative, Ghostrider. 

A series of lies and frauds have been perpetrated on the American people, and I must say, after the breadth and depth of being lied to by this gang in Washington for five years, I’m not willing to cut them any slack. Nor should the media. One can and should personally pray for the health and recovery of Joe Biden while simultaneously take a machete to the layers upon layers of bull excrement that has been heaped onto the American public by Democrats in office and in media since the basement campaign of 2020. 

ABC News seemingly got the marching orders from the Biden camp. They read the statement announcing Biden’s diagnosis, and squelched any journalistic curiosity about both the timing of the news and the sudden severity of Biden’s cancer, and brought on a doctor to wallpaper over the underlying scandal of which ABC played a significant part.





“So, Doc, as long as we’ve got you on the set, I have a series of questions for you,” the host didn’t ask. “How unusual is it for someone like the President of the United States, with access to the finest health care on Earth, to be given a clean bill of health by his personal physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor as late as August of 2024, and nine months later be at stage five with metastasis in his bones?”  Here’s another question not asked. “What are the odds of a stage five prostate cancer metastasizing to the bones without at least signaling its present via a rise in a PSA test given annually?” 

Here’s the thing. I’m not picking on Joe Biden. I’m not politicizing his condition. I’m saying someone, or a lot of people, are lying. Prostate cancers can be aggressive, and they can come on all of a sudden. It’s very, very rare that they move that fast, but it can happen. In those remote cases, it’s still at least a couple year progression, and you can still diagnose it rather quickly with regular PSA tests, especially in men of advanced years, followed up by a biopsy if the number spikes. 

Joe Biden’s last formal physical with Dr. O’Connor while Biden was president was at the end of February, 2024. Presumably, he got the finger. At 82-years-old, it would have been malpractice not to have taken a PSA test. None of that information was released to the public in the press release. Instead, we were told he was in good health. Even an aggressive cancer would have been present and growing at the time of that physical, considering its current stage of progression. 





In July, the doctor was summoned back to the White House along with a specialist to get to the bottom of neuropathy in Biden’s feet. The result? Perfect health. Nothing at all going on with Joe. 

A month later, in August, a question was asked of Dr. O’Connor about the condition of Biden. 

What exactly are the odds of Biden going from ‘Excellent health’ in August, 2024 to stage five, 9 on the Gleason scale, in nine months? About this much. 

Media should already be asking questions about who was running the country during Biden’s mental decline. They should have asked that before the cancer diagnosis. At the very minimum, they should be trying to ascertain when the decline really began to manifest itself and why the 25th Amendment wasn’t triggered. 

If that same media, who I believe has been and in many cases continues to be complicit in the coverup of Biden’s condition from the outset, spends any time this week trying to shame people away from the decline story, you know they’re still takng marching orders from the Biden camp. Biden’s medical diagnosis does not make the cognitive decline go away. It magnifies it. When did the lies about Biden’s condition begin? When was his cancer first discovered? Who manufactured/orchestrated the lie? And which members of media knew they were being lied to but did not push back because the election was at stake?

Taken together, the book and the audio are a reminder that for 2023 and most of 2024, an elaborate play was staged for the American people. The production was brought to you by some of the most powerful people in the country. The First Lady and senior White House aides wrote the script. 

Cabinet members and governors and senators and the legacy press all dutifully played their parts. Hollywood mogul Jeffrey Katzenberg made it as slick a show as possible. Steven Spielberg helped with the lighting. 

The conceit at the heart of it all: that Joe Biden was “sharp as a tack,” not only fit to serve as president at that moment, but the best choice to lead the country for another four years, until January 2029, when he would be 86. 

It was an audacious, disgraceful stunt. Yet it was the strangest of “cover-ups,” given that Biden’s decline was a publicly observable reality—despite how determined the press seemed to discredit the idea.

Did Joe Biden accidentally tell us about his cancer diagnosis as early as 2022? You be the judge.

“That’s why I and so damn many other people I grew up with have cancer.” 

Have. Present tense. The White House dismissed the comment as a gaffe. Media reported it as a gaffe, because they refused to conduct an ounce of journalism and question the narrative. So now that we see he has stage five, which in most aggressive cases still takes a couple years to progress to that level, it makes one wonder, doesn’t it, Resistance media, when he was actually first diagnosed? Might this explain why he had to take all those side trips back home to Delaware to rest every weekend? Why there were so many lids called very early in the day? Was Biden receiving treatments for the disease earlier? 

Again, who was running the country? 

In the delusional, bias-free world Chuck Todd insists is today’s reality, Kamala Harris’ public career would be over. So would Pete Buttigieg and every other member of Biden’s administration. It should finish the careers of Congressional Democratic leadership who had to know they were being stiff-armed away from seeing the President but spoke publicly as though he was as fit and sharp as ever. 

Pray for Joe Biden? Absolutely. As a Christian, or at minimum a decent human being, it’s a moral imperative. 

Pity Joe Biden? If that’s a strong feeling you have, I wouldn’t pick a fight with you about it. 

Ignore the biggest political lifetime because A) Biden is sick, and B) the media really, really wants you to focus in a different direction than in the location of their complicity? Not gonna happen. 

Rip the scab off. We have to expose the liars and their accomplices – the ones willing to repeat the lie, and separate them from those willing to stand up for truth and accountability and doggedly go where the story goes.
