Well, not quite. He was just 40 years early in predicting that Great Britain would become a totalitarian regime that wipes away history, common sense, and freedom of thought.
And even he could never have imagined the development of woke ideology, because cultural Marxism is even less sane than mere economic Marxism, even though it unpredictably turned out to be its logical extension.

The latest outrage (I suppose we can still be outraged about the entirely predictable assault on reality, right?) is the British “communications regulator” Ofcom ruling that GB News can’t deny that men can be women. They are not enjoined from questioning the issue, but by no means can they deny the possibility that people with penises are men.
Broadcasters must give airtime to claims that biological men are women when covering trans issues, Ofcom has said.
The media regulator warned GB News in a letter seen by The Telegraph that it could not treat the controversy as settled, despite the Supreme Court victory for women’s rights campaigners in April 2025.
The court decided that under the Equality Act, the word “woman” means a biological woman rather than a person’s self-identified gender.
As a result, women-only spaces have a legal right to be protected. Sir Keir Starmer has told hospitals and universities to obey the law and ban trans women from female lavatories “as soon as possible”.
However, Ofcom has said that the judges’ ruling does not mean the matter is “settled”.
In the past, the regulator has said that it considers it “settled” that climate change is real and a man-made phenomenon.
Therefore, in situations discussing climate change, broadcasters do not have to provide an opposing view such as a climate change sceptic.
At least Ofcom, in this case, allows for the fact that there is controversy. On many issues, the UK government will brook no dissent at all, such as whether one can be a British patriot.

That is definitely a no-no. One must bow down to their Muslim overlords, who are empowered to say anything they want, including making violent threats, and are often unpunished for doing anything they want, such as raping young girls. The latter is still open to debate–some “Asian” rapists do get modest punishments–although ones less severe than those who criticize rapists and murderers.

It’s bizarre what happens when you allow influential people to decide what you can and cannot say or think–and yes, even thinking specific thoughts is an offense in Great Britain. Praying in your own home, if you are praying for the wrong thing, is a hate crime, treated worse than actually assaulting people. Yet threatening to kill other people–primarily white Britons and Jews–is just a bit of fun.
Of course, it’s not just in Great Britain that this is happening–it’s throughout Europe and the Western world. It seems that the millennia-long fight for freedom just got too exhausting or something. It takes a lot of work to think freely, and allowing people to do so is a terrible inconvenience for government officials.

Of course, that doesn’t explain why barbarians–and I count anybody who is incapable of being civilized, regardless of race or religion–get to live by different rules. Sending the police after people who are inclined to obey the law is much easier than catching and punishing people who will riot when they are unhappy.
