The Tennessee Conservative Staff –

Illegal aliens charged with violent crimes continue to be rounded up across the state.

Davidson County police arrested 26-year-old Jhondei Javier Perez-Zamora for domestic assault with bodily injury, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and leaving the scene of an accident on July 20. He was given a total bond of $13,000. Perez-Zamora was charged earlier this month for violation of a protection order but that was dismissed at the request of the state.

Police also arrested 35-year-old Edras Noel Elvir-Martinez on July 22 on charges of aggravated assault/strangulation and domestic assault. He was booked on a $55,000 bond. He was previously arrested and charged with domestic assault in 2023 but that case was not pursued by the prosecution.

In Knox County, police arrested 30-year-old Solis Barrera on July 22. Barrera was charged with domestic assault.

All of these individuals are now listed as having immigration detainer holds.

They will remain in custody until they are released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

An ICE detainer most likely means these individuals are in this country illegally.
