That was not coincidence, though even imagining potential mechanisms is mind-boggling. This is a war, our enemy are raving mad psychopaths who kill civilians like sacrificing pawns in chess. If you want to get rid of the American Stasi, I suspect we will have to accept, for the time being, minor advances in gun rights. Once the Stasi is gone, and Cabal purged from the nation, I would expect things to go faster.
