Nothing Madder or Sadder Than a Weepy Fauxcahontus

This has to be one of the most unintentionally hilarious, yet revolting, performances I’ve ever seen.

Which is saying a lot because Elizabeth Warren’s ever-so-casual and unscripted ‘Ima have me a cold one‘ video from her kitchen was an all-time excruciating exercise in cringe.

However, the welling, Fauci lab dog, sad red eyes, and weepy, needs a tissue nose in this is over the top godawful.

And then, what she’s sniffling through in the delivery.

At least she held back and didn’t drop an f-bomb.

Thank God for small favors, although y’all probably pissed at me as it is right now that I did this to you right before lunch…right?

SORRY

Think of it as a public service announcement. What the Massachusetts senator is sniveling about for her impressionable viewers was the basic bones of the proposed Medicaid amendment.

As the amendment’s sponsor, Tennessee’s Marsha Blackburn explained, it didn’t only deal with measures to rein in the legendary waste, fraud, and abuse the system is famous for, but also had a section which is meant to remove any illegal aliens utilizing it at present and prevent any in the future from taking advantage of the program.

Sen Blackburn’s amendment was actually shot down – it didn’t pass. It had been one of those things the Senate parliamentarian decreed required a 60-vote approval.

What Republicans did was let the amendment drama play out, while keeping the original language IN the BBB, only striking and rewriting a bit of the language.

It was a brilliant bit of political maneuvering and has caused bitter tears to flow down Lie-A-Watha’s high cheekbones.

Should this BBB get by the perpetual cranks in the House intact, illegals will be stripped out of Medicaid for good.

And the canard that ‘there aren’t 1.4M illegals on Medicaid to begin with’ is flying fast and furious from fact-checkers

…No, immigrants who have entered and remained in the U.S. illegally are not eligible for Medicaid.

Although they might benefit from some of its services — including emergency care — they aren’t eligible for federally funded Medicaid coverage.

The White House’s 1.4 million estimate appears to refer to those with questionable immigration status who will lose coverage due to reductions in state health care programs currently providing them with assistance.

These programs are funded by the states, not through federal Medicaid dollars.

They might well be able to technically prove there aren’t any but emergency room cases of illegals using ‘federally funded Medicaid‘ to cover costs, but only when they strictly – and conveniently – look at the federal Medicaid itself.

The state health care programs that provide health care for illegals they claim are ‘funded by the states’?

AU CONTRAIRE

Let’s take California’s ‘state’ program, Medi-Cal. Does California foot the bill for those state healthcare costs?

Nope.

Medi-Cal is California’s Medicaid program. This is a public health insurance program which provides needed health care services for low-income individuals including families with children, seniors, persons with disabilities, foster care, pregnant women, and low income people with specific diseases such as tuberculosis, breast cancer, or HIV/AIDS.  Medi-Cal is financed equally by the state and federal government.

Let me reiterate, because there’s an awful lot of ‘federal, federal, federal’ no matter where you look in California’s STATErun health care program.

What is the difference between Medi-Cal, Medicaid and Medicare?
  • Medicare is a Federal program which provides basic health insurance to eligible recipients over age 65, and people who are under 65 and disabled, will get Part A, Part B and D after receiving Social Security benefits for 24 months
  • Medicaid is a joint Federal-State program which provides (among other things) long-term care for seniors
  • Medi-Cal is what the Federal Medicaid program is called in California. Medicare and Medi-Cal work in conjunction with other health insurance companies (such as Kaiser, Blue Cross, etc.) to provide medical services to clients.

I think we’ve sufficiently established that the state does not operate an independently financed healthcare system. Federal Medicaid dollars permeate every single level.

Now, who is eligible for state healthcare in California?

Anyone and everyone. Says so right on the Medi Cal page.

IMMIGRATION STATUS DOESN’T MATTER

In fact, the Medi-Cal program, which is funded by federal Medicaid dollars, had so many ILLEGAL ALIENS sign up since January of 2024 that greasy Gavin Newsom was forced into proposing a freeze on new applicants in an attempt to save the broke state an additional $5B in healthcare costs.

Exactly how many illegals (aka undocumented immigrants) are on federally funded Medi-Cal rolls in California?

Why almost the exact amount the White House claims, the BBB will move off the dole, and the number the press, progressives, and Democrats say doesn’t exist.

A year after granting Medi-Cal access to low-income immigrants without legal status, Gov. Gavin Newsom is proposing to freeze enrollment of new recipients and charge premiums in a move expected to save the state more than $5 billion.

Under Newsom’s proposal announced today, Medi-Cal — the state’s health insurance program for low-income people and those with disabilities — beginning in 2026 would no longer accept new enrollees 19 and older who lack permanent legal status.

The 1.6 million immigrants already signed up would not lose their Medi-Cal coverage, and children could still enroll. All undocumented Californians would still be covered for emergency medical and pregnancy care — so-called “limited scope” coverage that is paid for with federal dollars. But those who don’t enroll before January 2026 would be uncovered for other medical expenses, such as prescription drugs and doctor’s visits.

Before the changes could go into effect, the California Legislature would have to approve them in the state budget. Democratic lawmakers have so far largely balked at making major cuts to Medi-Cal coverage for immigrants.

But Warren would rather weep in her car for them than the legal immigrants who worked and waited.

And for American citizens who can’t access it at all because of the waste, the fraud…

…and abuse by the very people who shouldn’t be here to begin with.

Yeah.

They were on our tax dollars all along.

No one’s falling for the runny nose in the peace pipe trick.
