Law enforcement officials arrested several illegal aliens across the state over the last couple of days, with charges ranging from driving under the influence to domestic assault and false imprisonment.

In Davidson County, police arrested 27-year-old Rael Eduardo Padilla Marquez. Marquez is charged with false imprisonment, domestic assault, and vandalism >$1000 but
He was previously arrested in October 2024 for driving without a license and failure to provide evidence of insurance. Those charges were dismissed.

25-year-old Felix Alberto Castillo was also arrested on Sunday on charges of domestic assault. He was booked with a $1000 bond.
In the early hours of Monday morning, 32-year-old Emmanuel Gomez-Colina was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, implied consent, and no driver’s license. He was booked into the Downtown Detention Center in Davidson County with a $2500 bond.

Knox County deputies arrested 27-year-old Jose Sosa on Sunday. He is charged with DUI (first offense), having an open container, and domestic assault. He was originally placed on a 12-hour hold with bond to be set.

Also arrested in Knox County on Sunday was 24-year-old Jose Hernandez. Hernandez was charged with DUI (first offense), driving without a license, simple possession/casual exchange, and roadway violations. He was booked with bond to be determined.

Inmate records show that all of these individuals now have ICE detainers.
They will remain in custody until they are released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
