Illegal aliens were arrested in both Knox and Davidson Counties earlier this week on charges including DUI, felony vehicular assault and no driver’s license, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Officers with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39-year-old Erika Bartolo Miguel on July 14. She is charged with DUI: 1st Offense.

In Davidson County, 36-year-old Ramiro Che-Pop was arrested on Tuesday and charged with felony vehicular assault and no driver’s license. He was given a bond of $10,500.

Che-Pop was previously arrested in July 2021 for no driver’s license, but that charge was dismissed.

44-year-old Jose Armando Reyes Gron was also arrested Tuesday. Gron was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was booked on a $10,000 bond.

All of these individuals now show that they have an ICE hold.

They will remain in custody until they are released to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

An immigration detainer hold most likely means they are in this country illegally.
