Oh, my goodness gracious.
What ugly, fugly people these Democrats and progressives are.
For all their virtue-signaling and lecturing and weeping at podiums about norms and decency, in point of fact, none of them would have the first clue what any of those concepts really were if they were smacked in the face with them. Even if it were one slap at a time, so their slow-witted brains could keep up.
Take The Bulwark’s Tim Miller…PLEASE.
Old joke, but I’m not sure I’m kidding.
Anyway, remember how those who founded (and those who consequently joined) that online rag righteously left the GOP and MAGA and whatever sort of ‘conservatives’ would hobnob with such company in a blaze of indignant glory? The plain truth was they envisioned themselves as too civilized, cultured, well-bred, and erudite to associate with what they considered basically the unwashed rabble of the streets…aka you and me.
The Bulwark was to be an Olympus of the correct sort of conservatism – eloquent, educated, restrained, dispassionate yet tastefully ardent. The reasoned and experienced voice of true conservatism. A quiet oasis for similar souls seeking solace and company in the muffled and maddening MAGA cacophony swirling outside the inner sanctum.
Pro-democracy and pro-good-faith.
The Bulwark is home to Sarah Longwell, Tim Miller, Bill Kristol, JVL, Sam Stein, and more. We are the largest pro-democracy bundle on Substack for news and analysis on politics and culture—supported by a community built on good-faith.
They’ll float in the rarified air they’ve created above us and offer pithy but tasteful sneers.
In the wake of that cutie patootie, Hamas-loving, Ugandan immigrant’s decisive win of the Democratic primary for New York City mayor Tuesday, and the subsequent, oft-panicked navel gazing associated with it from both sides, Matt Walsh offered up a fun fact in a Xweet.
40 percent of New York City’s population is foreign born. Not just second and third generation immigrants. Foreign born. Almost half the city wasn’t born in this country. NYC isn’t an American city anymore by any reasonable definition of the term. It’s a tragedy and a disgrace.

I have to admit, I did not know this.
And I would think it would give most people a moment of pause – like, WHUT?
What it gave former Jeb Bush communications director and now The Bulwark’s Tim Miller was an immediate case of rip-his-mask-off, eyesearing, progressive rage.
That translates to a racial slur slung back at Matt Walsh, which was broadcast to millions.
Our good-faith, pretentious betters are so much worse than they’ve led us to believe. I’m shocked. You shocked?
Walsh good-naturedly pointed out that Miller’s orc was showing.
Tell me again who the racist cretins are?
But that wasn’t the end of the progressive racist parade by a long shot. It was only the warm-up, because after all, who is Tim Miller, really?
Just another progressive.
But there’s this guy who works for the White House, Stephen Miller, and he always has people mad. Besides being wickedly quick, he’s a take-no-prisoners kind of straight talker.
And a Jew.
So who should ever give a rat’s patootie about that, says everyone you or I know or read online or vote for, right?
Exactly.
But in the world of progressives and Democrats, it’s (D)ifferent.
Stepehen Miller’s confidence pisses them off enormously. The fact that he’s in a position in the White House has their eyes bleeding.
And when he says something that angers them even further, why, Democratic congressmen can’t wait to wish him to perdition on X…or the gas chamber.
CONGRESSMAN Pocan is the representative from Wisconsin’s 2d District.
He’s also gay.
Why do I feel I need to mention that?
Because he’s all about calling people names, always has been, but as a gay man, he’s also always the victim. Or can do it because he’s been a victim.
Rep. Mark Pocan calls new House Speaker Mike Johnson an “extremist” and “one of the most homophobic members in all of Congress” in targeting Johnson’s record and comments on gay rights: “There’s a reason people call him ‘MAGA Mike’ and that’s from his friends” pic.twitter.com/a5xk8z6gPG

For someone who loves telling the unverified story of being beaten with a baseball bat after leaving a bar in 1989 for being ‘gay,’ you’d think the Jew-hating congressman would be a tad more careful wishing ill on others.
But he’s (D)ifferent and, man – he hates Miller.
So it’s not a problem when his orc comes out.
Lately, those masks have been flying off progressive orc faces at a fast and furious pace. Dizzying, in fact.
These are really miserable, utterly sucktastic individuals underneath the tissue paper-thin civilized veneer and let’s not pretend any differently any further.
Although I will allow – dropping the masks is better than the stupid f-bombs they tried a couple of weeks ago.
It’s easy to tell when they’re faking.
